Upadhi Job fair

Friends, join with me to pay our tributes to Sri. Saibaba, the great human kind. As I used to mention several times about my charity activity called "Upadhi" to link rural youth to Indian Corporates, last Saturday I have conducted a job fair in Kurnool Dt and provided employment to 70 guys with the salary range between Rs.6300-Rs.10k. Bhagavan Saibaba is with me to take this project forward and achieve my target of providing employability for 1000 people by Dec11. Next month 2nd Saturday I am going to conduct one more job fair.

Mega Job Fair under "Upadhi" project

We are organizing a Mega Job Fair on 23^rd April 11 at Nandyal, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh under my social activity “Upadhi” project. As I told earlier, the idea behind this project is to linking rural youth to job opportunities in Indian corporate and development-sector organizations.

We are going to recruit around 600 people in the mega event with salary range between Rs.5000 to Rs.10000. Please mail me on ram.k.reddy@adrgroup.in to participate in this program.

Upadhi Inauguration

As I informed earlier we inaugurated “Upadhi” program on 9th of April in the presence of village leaders, youth reps and press. Wonderful response and appreciation received from the mob.

Huge confidences build when we got a requirement for about 200 people from one of the BPO in Hyderabad. We have started job seekers registration process in Kurnool district under “Upadhi” project.

Also one of the well-known healthcare companies gave me a requirement for 50 D. Pharm & B. Pharm people to close before end of April 11. I am expecting many more mandates in the future.

Not-For-Profit – Silpa Upadhi

Mission: Aiming for better society through our vision of providing employment for people in rural segments.

To support our mission statement, we began with the idea of linking rural youth to job opportunities in Indian corporate and development-sector organizations. As a part of this noble cause we have taken Kurnool district, AP for a pilot project and initiated a program called “Silpa Upadhi”. To make this program successful the nonprofit division of ADR has connected with “Silpa Charities”, founded by Sh. Silpa Mohan Reddy who is a former minister and present MLA.

The very innovative nature of the rural population can be harnessed and put to best use with a bit of investment in training. ADR & Silpa Charities have plans to join hands with NGOs and Industry proven personalities to provide training programs at free-of-cost for graduates and unemployed rural youth. All these programs are motivational in nature.

Upadhi is completely a nonprofit bustle where we will not charge any service fee neither from the government nor candidates or industries. From the perspective of the Indian economy, more jobs mean a contribution to GDP, more foreign exchange, more raw materials for industries, more manufactured goods and more services. Hence, employment for the rural youth has the potential to provide momentum to the giant wheel of the economy.

All able bodied un-employed persons in the 21 to 45 years age group of the local population shall be compulsorily enrolled to form human resources units in every Village / Panchayat. Enrollment shall be an incessant progression. And employment could be for any level i.e., a software engineer, medical, an MBA, nurse, pharmacist, carpenter, plumber, security guard, sales force, warehousing assistant, driver, etc.

            

Project Mentors

Ram K Reddy A, HR Business Partner: Ram has more than 15 years of experience in organizations leading the HR function. A hands-on experience as the Strategic HR and SBU Operations Head has helped Ram to polish his skills in the area of People Management. He has been associated with the organizations like Reliance ADA Group, Mind Source, Optimal Minds etc. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (HR) and PGDM in HR. He was honored with “Leadership Excellence” award from President HR, Reliance Communications.

Sh. Silpa Mohan Reddy, MLA: An Arts graduate, a successful business man, elected as MLA twice in a row in his two contests, headed ministry of housing in Andhra Pradesh, founder of Silpa Seva Samithi and former director for Acharya N.G. Ranga University. All his charity programs like Silpa Sahakar, Silpa Purified water supply, Silpa Mahila cooperative bank, Silpa Rythu Sahakar, Group Marriages for poor, Silpa Health camps etc., are own funded.          

Rural India is the heart of the nation. If it functions well, the country flourishes.
